Someone who's been on the project a long time would have to comment on the "not change" part... as to the "why change", I think this doesn't look very sane: https://api-docs.iotivity.org/latest-c/annotated.html or https://api-docs.iotivity.org/latest-c/functions.html so people don't have to follow the links, in the latter page we see: Here is a list of all class members with links to the classes they belong to: whereas if you build "for C", it says: Here is a list of all struct and union fields with links to the structures/unions they belong to: No, I don't have an alternate proposal right now, maybe we'll get some tutorials for the web page eventually, and then the link would be right? :)
