Hi,

You do not need the Resource Discovery Service to run a client application on
another PC.

Actually, you can run the client application and the server application from
any PC and they will work with each other as long as they are in the same
network. You would not need to change the source code at all.

Thanks,

-Rami

Subject: [dev] IoTivity Development on Raspberry Pi* 3 and Server/Client Problem

Hello, and Thanks to your answer.

I think I lacked my current environment and explanation of the questions.
Sorry..

I followed the instructions in the

[IoTivity Development on Raspberry Pi* 3] document and

confirmed that turning the LED on and off using server and client from the
raspberry pi.

I want to connect client in other PC to Server running in Raspberry Pi and use
the Resource Discovery Service.

So, I think I need to modify the IP connection part in the client code of
another PC.

Right? Am I proceeding with the right idea?

Please advice to me, Thanks.

I wish you have a good day.
