Hello IoTivity Devs,

Apologies in advance for the possibly confusing tagging and branch names, but
we decided at the OSWG Conference Call 2 weeks ago that it would be even more
confusing to release IoTivity 1.4 as an implementation of the OCF 2.0
Specifications. Beginning with IoTivity 1.3 (and now IoTivity 2.0) the major
and minor version numbers for IoTivity will match the OCF Specification which
it implements. For historical reference I created a 1.4.0-RC3 tag on the exact
same commit as 2.0.0-RC1. We won't change the branch name, but we will use 2.0
in the tags, version info within IoTivity, and documentation.

The upshot is: IoTivity QA should begin testing 2.0.0-RC1 immediately, so we
can release 2.0.0 next week (pending no new P1 issues, of course).

Thanks everyone for the hard work... we're almost there!

OSWG Chair
