We need help getting your feedback, and capturing your questions and answers in the corresponding "troubleshooting/FAQ" wiki<https://wiki.iotivity.org/getting_started_troubleshooting_and_faq>.
Please take a few minutes and try following the getting started steps. If you have issues, please take a look at the FAQ first, but then reply here if your situation isn't at least listed. We'll try to improve the FAQ and fix any glaring issues in the steps as we go. Note that at this point I'm personally have stability issues with running the OTGC tool (step 6) but others are reporting better success so let us know what your experience is.
