Subject: ICANN (again) defers decision on .xxx top-level domain
Dave,
As noted in:
http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory?id=1134094
ICANN has again deferred a decision on the ".xxx" top-level domain
(TLD), supposedly to seek contract changes with proposed registry
ICM. If this information is correct, it suggests that ICANN is
still intent in pushing through the TLD, despite the objections of
persons and organizations across the political and technical
spectrum.
The original IP thread on this controversy starts at:

I suggest that my statement at:

remains an accurate analysis of the overall situation.
