I have to agree with John Naughton here. I'm really quite disappointed
that Brin has turned out to be utterly spineless -- someone who couldn't
*wait* to surrender to the thugs in the Chinese government rather than
risk the possibility that Google would be locked out. Pathetic.

The ONLY proper answer to the Chinese in this case, and in the Microsoft
case, and in the Yahoo case, is that given to the surrender demands
of the
enclosing German army during the siege of Bastogne (December, 1944)
