So now if I use the Yellow Pages to look up, say, massage parlors (just to pick an example, of course :-)), and illegal activity also occurs at some of
them, the telcos can be sued and forced to stop publishing phone
directories.

Well *that's* new.

On the other hand, it does present an interesting new way to attack the
incumbents :-)
