It was interesting to see this right after the "Middle class goes
broadband as price falls" article.
We don't have broadband in the US, we have "middleband" just a little
better than dialup, but not really broadband.
Then the article "Fastest Internet Ever Coming Your Way" says that
the real broadband is 100Mbps to 1Gbps and someday we'll have that in
the US.
Well you can get that TODAY (100Mbps) in Japan for $50/month (fiber
to the building) and they are actually upgrading it to Gbit ethernet
already in some places in Japan.
So the US is the Internet 3rd world country now with Crony
Capitalists stifling innovation thru the remonopolisation of telecom
while the rest of the world blows by us.
