David Farber [23/08/06 09:38 -0400]:
Darn good question re KY (and yes TSA.GOV crashes Safari!!!)
To be very frank - speaking as a 30 year old male who has zero need for
these - ky jelly or other personal lubricants can be used for other
applications, not just for anal sex.
Vaginal dryness is one of the most common symptoms of menopause - and it
can vary in effect from discomfort during sex to a persistent itching
and
burning sensation.
The recommended treatment for that is .. well, KY Jelly.
I'm told it makes it more comfortable for someone who's had an intrusive
medical procedure like an endoscopy (aka a tube pushed deep into your
anus)
to sit down in reasonable comfort on an airplane seat - particularly on
longhaul flights.
However popular TSA bashing may be, they're 100% right in allowing KY
jelly
or other lubes on flights.
