Hi all,

Is there some reason why a simple UDP test might take longer than
expected to complete? Some limiting factor in Linux or something?
Basically, I have the following :

Server - iperf -s -u
Client - iperf -c <server> -u -b 90000 -l 60 -d -t 30 -m

This test takes 30 seconds in most cases, but I'm seeing anomalies
where the test takes 60 and even 90 seconds to complete. The client
and server machine are connected via the same switch, and there's no
excess traffic on the switch.

Any thoughts?
