Unless you specify it should read a file from disk, it just generates some
bogus data and stores it in memory.

Subject: [Iperf-users] How is the data generated, that is sent by iperf?

Hi *,

I was wondering how the data generation is done in iperf. If for
example, iperf pushes at a rate of 10Gb/s, where does that data comes
from? Does it resides in memory first?

Thanks in advance
