Howdy!
Don Tucker je dne 05/05/11 21:20 napisal-a:
I have the following configuration:
computer1 - iperf client
computer2 - iperf server
computer3 - ssh intermediary computer
[snip]
If I use TCP, everything works fine, but for some reason UDP doesn't
work via the port forwarding. Any ideas on why TCP would work but not
UDP over port 5001?
ssh manual page (among other things) says:
X11 connections and arbitrary *TCP* ports can also be forwarded over
the secure channel.
(highliting is mine)
It doesn't say anything about UDP so IMHO it's safe to assume that UDP
port forwarding can not be done using SSH tunnels.

BOFH excuse #340:
We'll fix that in the next (upgrade, update, patch release, service pack).
