Addendum:

Due to a mistake in the release process for iperf3-3.0.2, the tarball
that I announced previously is actually not compressed, despite having
a "tar.gz" file extension. While confusing, the contents of the
uncompressed tarball are correct, as is the file checksum.

The file URL and SHA256 checksum are:

http://stats.es.net/software/iperf-3.0.2.tar.gz

SHA256 hash:

3c379360bf40e6ac91dfc508cb43fefafb4739c651d9a8d905a30ec99095b282
iperf-3.0.2.tar.gz

For those interested: This situation was caused because I relied on
"git archive" to create a compressed tarball. However, the version of
git I used (1.7.1, as shipped in CentOS 6) does not actually support
this functionality. Instead it (silently) created a tar archive
without any compression. A change to iperf3's release generation
script has been committed to prevent this from happening in the
future.

Many thanks to Andy Germain for pointing out this situation.

Apologies for the confusion.

Bruce.
