So I think what you are really asking is whether iperf3 will support the bidirectional tests that iperf2 supports. The answer is that no it's not really on our roadmap at this point. It wasn't designed for this functionality, and I think that implementing it would take probably more effort than the principal maintainer has available. That having been said, if someone in the community can figure out how to do either or both of those without completely turning the iperf3 code base inside-out, we'd be happy to discuss. Bruce.
