You mentioned solutions for NAT and firewall issues in your original
email.  Do you know for a fact that there are (or are not) a NAT and/or
firewall between the two endpoints?  Not all NATs and firewalls are
created equally.

Ultimately it may come down to you needing to do some sort of packet
capture on the two endpoints so you can see exactly what's being sent
and received.  At least at that point you'll understand what the problem is.
