Hello iperf users,
I am looking for a way to test a long distance Ethernet circuit. I don´t
really want to connect iperf at both ends because that would require me to
travel to another country just to connect a laptop. Instead, I would like
to put the remote end of the circuit in loopback which I can do remotely.
That means that every packet/frame send into the circuit travels through
the circuit, turns around and comes straight back exactly as it was (unless
there are errors on the circuit). I am looking for a bit of software that
can transmit out an Ethernet port and check that the same data comes back.
Is there any way to make iperf do this?
