Hi, hoping someone might be able to help me with this query. I'm new to networking and in my new role we've just installed a SOGEA line into our office. As part of the install, we wanted to test the line to see what speeds we would get. Initially some tests were done sending files from my office to another but the results returned were not great. I queried the test as sending files would have all manner of over heads and after some searching, found iPerf.
I'm running a single thread test and the speeds do not appear to be great but when running a multi-thread test the speeds returned appear to be more in line with what our provider suggests we would get. What is the difference between single thread and multi-thread? Thanks Isaac
