Hi all, Noticing the other thread (Re: AW: IPFilter 3.4.28), indicating problems with the FTP proxy under OpenBSD, I thought I'd better triple check, that I hadn't imagined that it worked under FreeBSD 4.6 RC4...
I setup another machine, and with the following "simple" NAT ruleset tested:- map vr1 192.168.0.0/24 -> 210.XX.YY.54/32 proxy port ftp ftp/tcp map vr1 192.168.0.0/24 -> 210.XX.YY.54/32 portmap tcp/udp 10000:65000 map vr1 192.168.0.0/24 -> 210.XX.YY.54/32 * FTP from internal host to the net using passive FTP:- OK * FTP from internal host to the net using standard FTP:- OK * RDR's:- OK * MAP's:- OK I did the same tests to different FTP sites (an NT based server & Solaris), from 2 different clients (Windows 2000 & FreeBSD). All seems well. I didn't imagine it! ;-) So that's a machine with FreeBSD 4.6 RC4 & IPFilter 3.4.28 installed. All looks GOOD! Thanks again, Warren [EMAIL PROTECTED]
