I have two basic issues right now that are confusing me. I just finished upgrading from OpenBSD2.9 with the built in IPFilter to 3.1 with IPFilter 3.4.28. First issue is what the error below is about the "cannot use port and neither tcp or udp". Does that mean I now have to explicitly declare the tcp/udp for all rules with ports in them?
The second I have found many references on google about but I dont' understand what the error is.It states that it "can't resolve hostname: xl0". Several sites have stated that this is because of netstart and the IPF initialization in it is in an funny spot. That is all fine and it makes sense, all I want to know is what the heck is the solution? Any help would be VERY appreciated!
