Is there currently a way to do NAT of outgoing packets (from my host running NAT, not rouiting) based on the UID that owns the process that is generating the outgoing traffic?
This would be very handy for a single machine with many interactive users, like a thin-client server, to cheat applications that assume one user per IP address. e.g. Some Voice-over-IP software assumes that you will have a recieving daemon listening for the return audio on a specific port. This wont work if you have several people on the same host trying to use the same software.
Thanks,
