Problem with logging

Hello list:
        I have installed ipfilter for Solaris 8. 
        I configured syslog to send local0.* to /var/log/ipf.log
        ipmon is running -Ds
        
        ipf.conf file has entries with log in them

        But I can not get any logs.

        Any help
