Quick knee-jerk questions: You say the module can't be loaded. Why not? Was there an error message? Did the machine panic? What happened? What exactly do you mean by port forwarding? (rdr rules?) After booting and loading the NAT rules, what does ipnat -l output look like? I've been running ipf40axx for months now under FreeBSD-CURRENT.
