Hey folks,
So I've finally updated the FAQ. Lots of stuff this time. The changelog based on questions added/changed is below, but a few other things are significant about this update:
- The entire FAQ should now verify in HTML 4.01 Transitional
- All pages in the FAQ now use a common (very simple) stylesheet
- The "long" version, which was originally a hack to make a printable version generated a plethora of complaints about the links not working. Well, they were never *supposed* to work, I did that to make a "printable" version. But I got sick of the complaining, so now they work.
- This is the first version to ever cover anything in IPF 4.x (Darren, your emails are quoted or heavily leaned on in a few places ;) )
- About 40% of these fixes are typos, spelling issues, etc. The rest are functional updates
Here's the general changelog:
11/22/04 NEW * General Questions question 36 * Solaris questions 19, 20, and 21 * NetBSD question 3
REVISED * General Questions questions 3, 5, 19, 18, 25, and 27 * Common Problems questions 14 * Solaris questions 2, 5, 6, and 8 * FreeBSD question 16 * Linux question 1 * FAQ Admin questions 1 and 2
Enjoy. For those of you in the US, have a Happy Thanksgiving.
