Hi,
As I've grumbled on this list before, I use 3.4.31 for my production Solaris 9 boxes. 3.4.32 and 3.4.33 had some problems, and I don't know
where things stand with version 3 now. Work there seems to have
ended, in favor of Version 4. I've also been bit by version 4, so
I'm sticking with 3.4.31 until I move to Solaris 10. This does **not**
mean that I'm unhappy with ipfilter -- it is great code. I just have
to stick with what works for me in a production environment. 3.4.31
is stable and does what I need.

Subject: Best version of IPFilters for Solaris

I was wondering what the best (most stable) version of IPFilters would be for a production Solaris 9 box. I had issues with 4.1.3 and can't have my boxes drop on me..

Thanks..
Scott
