matt, just some datapoints on a couple of routing firewalls running ipf:

and until the lab took a power hit last week, i had a solaris E450 (Sol 8) up for >450 days running ipf v3.4.29 without any hiccups.
ok, now that's the story with ipf v3.4.x; i have no useful long term data yet for ipf v4.x.
