I'm having the past-mentioned miocpullup problem on a Sun v240, running
Solaris 8/sparc 02/04 with the current patch cluster.

On bootup, I get the following:

Sun Fire V240, No Keyboard
Copyright 1998-2003 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved.
OpenBoot 4.11.4, 2048 MB memory installed, Serial #59596965.
Ethernet address 0:3:ba:8d:60:a5, Host ID: 838d60a5.

Rebooting with command: boot
Boot device: disk0 File and args:
SunOS Release 5.8 Version Generic_117350-21 64-bit
Copyright 1983-2003 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved.
Hardware watchdog enabled
configuring IPv4 interfaces: bge0.
Hostname: brtap-35
Configuring /dev and /devices
/kernel/drv/sparcv9/pfil symbol miocpullup multiply defined
Configuring the /dev directory (compatibility devices)

And the pfil module doesn't load, or attach to my network interfaces. I
have found the earlier discussion of this symbol on this list, but there
was no resolution listed, and the discussion wasn't applicable to this
Solaris build nor to this patchlevel.

Any ideas? I'm using gcc-3.4.2 (sunfreeware) gmake 3.8 (sunfreeware)
and pfil-2.1.5 and ip_fil4.1.6.

Thanks!
