M'okay. My ipf 4.1.7 actually compiles now, but fails to load (missing symbol 
ipfilter_kernel).
The last thing I found on this was "Addtional fixes are needed to run ipf40 on 
IRIX 6.5.", but that
was in 2002 so I'd think this is something else.

I tried a new openssl (since it occurs with ssl/ssh connects). I had a 0.9.7d 
and upgraded to 0.9.7e, but to no avail.

Anyway, does anybody know any other way to get rid of the log entry perhaps?
