I think this is related to the /etc/opt/pfil/iu.ap file that lists the
interface type in there.
I suppose you could manually modify this file (or perhaps the script I
provided can quickly accommodate these changes).

More specifically, I found that if the build host didn't have the same
type of interface as the target host... pfil wouldn't bind...
