Hi Darren, The kernel is from the latest update from SuSE for 9.3. Now the syntax error is gone, but install fails with following errors install: can't open ipfstat install: can't open ipf install: can't open ipnat install: can't open ippool install: can't open ipfs make[1]: *** [install] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/ip_fil4.1.8/Linux' Regards, Horst
