Hello all,
I recently sent to the list my response to the "ssh from DHCP host"
question, and got autoreplies from four people telling me that they are out
of office (which I'm not interested at all, since I don't know them!).
Moreover, I got also one autoreply requesting me to reply to it to verify
"that I am a living human and not spam source". I consider this particularly
stupid that someone sets up this kind of verification for a mailing list
that he or she previously subscribed him/herself to.
So here is my kind request to anybody who is setting up autoresponders: if
you use this tool, learn how to use them properly, that is, set them up so
that they don't reply to messages from mailing lists. Sending autoreplies to
messages from mailing lists is considered bad netiquette. PERIOD.
Regards,
   Jaroslaw Rafa
