Hi Gary...I graduated from UManitoba about 15 years ago. Good to see you're still keeping things running! Perhaps you could explain more about why you're trying to do this? Someone might have a completely different idea for a solution? Are you trying to move a service off of one system but for some reason you must use the existing IP, but must still keep that IP on the current box? If that's what you are trying to do, you might look into something like an F5 load balancer. Some of those load balancers do amazing things, but they can be costly too.
