Blackberry has an unlimited international email option that isn't available for
non-blackberry devices on nearly all carriers. In fact, Verizon's is unlimited
data, not just unlimited email.

I just compared a users usage in Hong Kong. It was going to cost $150/day if
she used her Verizon Droid 2, compared to a pro-rated $20/mo on a T-mobile
blackberry.

The reason for this that I can think of is that RIM set up agreements with
carriers ahead of time. Additionally, BlackBerry data usage is much less than
ActiveSync (this also increases the battery life substantially. You can add
activesync to a device and see battery life drop considerably.

How about this?

Blackberry
Best for IT administrators with strict and granular policy needs.
Great battery life due to poor processing power.

iPhone
Great for IT administrators managing a lot of personally owned hardware
Broadest availability of software

Android
Great for tech oriented users who don't want IT or Google/the phone
carrier/etc locking them in to capabilities and interface.
The most difficult of the three for IT to administer.
I have found that the attributes that technical users love are pretty
irrelevant to non-technical users.
More powerful devices have correspondingly lower battery life.
