Actually, they are not.  Apple has applied for a patent on how to do it it 
seems (which everyone in the news industry interprets to mean "Apple  is 
banning gig filming" -- they all put intent into Apple which is hilarious to 
read about) but has not built any iPhone with the technology and no concert 
providers have the stuff on their end that is needed. 

The potential is there.  Not the capability.

I still laugh at how the news reports make this a done deal and APPLE IS doing 
this.

They may or may not.  I think they won't.   Won't help them sell more devices.
