Just another thing not spelled our clearly intentionally when you get a new phone. I don't doubt it was in 4 pt font on line 600 of some document nobody read.

This is correct. Only the first phone gets the full upgrade.

Subject: AT&T's upgrade options to new iPhone 4S

My wife and I are looking into upgrade options (AT&T) from iPhone 4 to
iPhone 4S.
We each got the iPhone 4 on the release date (June 24, 2010).
When we log into our account(s), one phone is eligible for discounted
upgrade on November 25th, 2010, while the other not until February 25,
2012.

Why the discrepancy?
Is this because one of the phones is a second phone on a family plan
which appears to be discounted, but in fact, really isn't?

Anybody considering moving to Sprint? if so, why or if not, why not.

K
