Plex is good, but it’s a lot more than what I need. I have organized and
categorized folders and a very light weight BLNA server (Serviio) which takes
basically no resources at all. Plex is a big package that takes a LOT of
resources, enough that it impacts everything else I use the server for;
especially if two streams are working at once. Serviio works just fine
streaming to the TV, the projector, and a couple of iOS devices all at once and
the server doesn’t break a sweat.

On top of that, I do connect to other DLNA servers on occasion, so what I use
on iOS needs to talk to those as well.
