Hi Kevin, well to say the least: this guy as a 'strange' workflow ;-). iCloud-Access is built-in Pages, Keynote, etc... there's no need to upload the files through a web-panel or some such; And if you use it that way there should be no problem. I work like this quite often and never experienced a problem with it.
For me iCloud is a good thing, since my documents are in the same state across all my Macs, iPhones, iPads...
