a friend of mine tried sending me a photo (via SKYPE) he'd taken with his iPhone 4S via Skype -- he was on his MBPro I was on my iPad (3rd gen)
there didn't appear a way to receive or view the image - I had to go to my studio, launch Skype on my Mac etc. etc. etc. While I complain about Skype, it does work cross platform -- AND you can do video conferencing with Skype over cellular I wish Apple would take video conferencing seriously -- give us the features of iChat (and iChat Theatre) in FaceTime -- and over cellular. If Skype can do video over cellular, why not FaceTime? and where are the file-sharing options in FaceTime?
