I searched for ratings but I don't think it has them… I submitted an enhancement request to Radar.
For the FB and Flickr comments, I think that's where it displays comments from others *after* you've shared? Placement is a bit odd I guess. iPhoto for iOS took a little getting used to but now I use it constantly, despite the fact it's clearly still a 1.0.
