We live in Seattle and upgraded to a couple of AT&T LTE iPad (3)s as soon as they came out because we are grandfathered into unlimited data (also have iPhones on AT&T grandfathered in). Tonight, I witnessed my BIL's Verizon LTE iPad running the speedtest.net app:
25.22 Mbps DOWN and 28.52 Mbps UP. This is faster than I get with our iPad (3)s on our network at home over Time Capsule/Comcast.
