Perhaps somebody here can clarify something for me: Is the iPhone 5 a "cross
network" phone, or are there different hardware versions for the different
networks? Will the same phone operate on ATT, Sprint, Verizon, etc? Obviously
it would need to be provisioned onto the network in question.

I'm considering getting a non-ATT carrier with my 5, but I don't want to loose
the ability to get a local sim when I travel (assuming I can get the phone
unlocked).
