I use Passbook pretty frequently, with differing results. It works perfectly at Starbucks. the card shows up on my lock screen automatically and is scanned without a problem.
I’ve used it for some movie tickets. With Regal/United Artist theaters, despite their being fairly tightly tied in to Fandango, their scanners cannot scan the iPhone. AMC theaters, on the other hand, can scan it without issue. AMC also refunds your fandango fees (possibly only if you have one of their “Stubbs” cards), so I tend to use it only for AMC tickets and only use the Regal one when I need to buy Fathom Event tickets. -- Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend.
