As far as I know, there is no event fired or any  sort of notification that
the user has flicked up/down for scrolling or swiped their finger left/right
to try and change pages.  The viewport seems to move over the static page
content.

I haven't heard back from Apple yet, but I hope to be asking questions that
center around how that sort of thing at the tech talk in LA.
