I can't really tell what is going on with your app. Can't get the video to play in Safari 3, and the direct refmovie link you supplied is throwing a 404 error.
I found that putting multiple QT embeds on a single page chokes MobileSafari, it takes forever for it to display the play icon over the poster jpeg. Found it works better to just put a thumbnail in the list and have a separate detail page for each movie where the embed is. There must have been an update to MakeRefMovieX, cause the version I have doesn't have the "mobility" pull down. But I'm not using MakeRefMovieX anyway because I wanted to make the ref movies on the fly as video was uploaded. PHPRefMovie (http://net.zkm.de) is working great in my app. When a video is uploaded by a user, ffmpeg makes mp4, 3gp versions and PHPRefMovie makes the corresponding refmovie. Works well.
