Hi folks, I'm involved with AppMarks and have been in contact with Bill about this issue. Unfortunately, we're unable to determine why their account was flagged for click fraud.
My understanding is that there are two forms of AdSense fraud, click fraud ( i.e. fake ad clicks) and impression fraud (i.e. fake page views). Regarding click fraud, AppMarks doesn't do anything that would directly cause ad clicks. As for impression fraud, there does appear to be a precedent with StumbleUpon causing websites to be banned from AdSense due to a sudden increase in traffic: http://www.seonewsblog.com/stumbleupon-can-get-your-adsense-account-banned-for-invalid-impressions-fraud Finally, as Bill has suggested, iPhones connecting via EDGE may all come through the same collection of IP addresses and get flagged as invalid clicks. Again it's not clear what the real culprit is here. If anyone knows someone at Google who could help shed some light on the issue, it would be much appreciated if you send them Bill's or our way.
