You can't. The existence of this app effectively renders ASCII useless. Relax dude. He's just experimenting with the iPhone UI. As long as there are different devices there will be different ways to render data, and some of those ways can be targeted for that device. Right now we're having a good time goofing with the iPhone interface.
There is no single, perfect way to display data on the web. There is and always has been multiple clients which require support, especially when you get into the arena of mobile clients.
