This is a library I put together that emulates the iPhone main menu buttons functionality and animation. I showed it off at the Aug 28 iPhone Tech Talk in Chicago and lots of people were interested in how I done it so I decided to clean it up a bit and release the code.
Please bear in mind that I am not a web developer and have only a little javascript experience so the code might not be that great.
