I originally hacked my v1.0.0 iPhone to add Ringtones and change the
carrier logo, and when I upgraded to v1.0.1, it made me restore and I
lost lots of stuff (including the ringtones, SMS, email accounts, maps/
youtube/stocks/weather settings and favorites, etc). It really pissed
me off. However, I then hacked my v1.0.2 iPhone, and it worked great
for a while, and then somehow it stopped recognizing my music, so I
did a restore, and everything was kept in tact (except the hack). I
don't really understand why. So YMMV.
