Hi, I just joined this discussion group, hoping to find a little help. I cannot seem to get animated gifs to work on an iPhone.
I searched the archives and see that there was a short discussion in early July about this (member "elchap" did a quick test - one that "worked", and one the "didn't" - http://www.kinemo.com/iphone/160x100.gif and http://www.kinemo.com/iphone/190x190.gif , respectively. Personally, on my iPhone, the first one shows up as a box, the second one shows up as a box with text, neither of them animate. I also saw a posting from user "AwayBBL", on August 4, with an animated screen at http://www.myhip.com/animated_demo.html with looks fantastic on my iPhone, but is clearly far more technically complex. I am NOT a developer - just a regular web guy - straight HTML, etc. But I need to build a site that's iPhone-compatable, including animated gifs.
