Although not strictly webdev, I've seen posts discussing the built-in
apps & data formats...

Here are some first steps towards "importing" to Notes.app/notes.db

There's also an effort to 'link' data from a web-based app into Notes

I'm wary of spending time "application-izing" it, as Apple may at any
time actually release the 'synchronization' functionality in iTunes...
but at least now I can carry around all the little tidbits I
previously dumped in the Notes folder of my iPod nano via 'disk use'
access. And I can create 'email templates' as well :)
