Hope this is not a duplicate post. Couldn't see this appear on the
board.

I am a surgeon based in the UK. I have no programming expertise but a
reasonable grasp of what is realistic and what is not.

Several - gosh maybe 15 years ago - I successfully developed a
software application for the Psion handheld device that recorded CPD
(continuing professional development). This is ongoing education that
professionals (not just doctors) are required to undertake and record/
report. It had a brief period in the spotlight, but the infant Palm
killed it!

I know that many doctors and other professionals own iPhones and would
like to try to find someone who would be interested in developing a
similar programme for the iPhone.

This would be very simple (ha, what would I know. I am the iSurgeon!).
As the user entered an appointment in Calendar, there needs to be an
additional field for CPD (Y/N) and a drop down menu for category that
is customisable. These categories are usually specific to each
profession. For me they fall into two groups with about 5 sub-groups.
At intervals I need to print out a report of CPD attended. Obviously
there needs to be a way to confirm that something entered as an
appointment originally, was actually attended.

I would like to find a developer interested in bringing this to life?
I have no commercial interest in this, any profit goes to the
developer.

Am I a dreamer with aspirations but no ability to follow through, or
am I serious? I co-wrote a book that has sold over 4000 copies, gone
to third reprint and won several awards (see web link below). What was
it about? OK...PowerPoint, but we all make mistakes!

Thanks
